My name is Elma Hogeboom, a Dutch artist and entrepreneur. I'm currently doing a PhD research at the Prince's School of Traditional Arts. My research concerns Painting Paradise, and looking at sustainability in the arts by studying Medieval European manuscripts and Islamic manuscripts from that same time period.

Sounds like a great plan! I love the representation of trees, plants and flowers in Persian and Indian miniature. Will it also feed into your research?
