[SOLVED] Origin of Miniature Painting?

Question

I purchased this Miniature painting at a consignment shop, and I was wondering if anyone in the group could help identify the origin and/or the language on the back of the painting. I appears to be a page from a very old book.

It looks fairly recent if I'm honest - also there is a practice of reusing older papers so dating from the original paper is not reliable in itself (I myself sometimes paint on antique papers, eg old accounts etc without images). Do you like the painting? That's the most important thing. The rendering (shading) on the deer is quite fine. And the rocks have a nice movement to them. Someone enjoyed painting this!

Thank you for the response. Yes, I love the painting, and I think I paid less for it than the original owner paid for the framing. I had not thought about that it may have been painted on old paper. It is nicely framed with glass giving UV protection. It will hang proudly on a wall in my home.
