A falnameh فالنامه is a divination book or book of omens. Sometimes the bibliomancy takes the form of a grid and other times a book is flipped open to a random page, which answers a question on your mind. The Divan of Hafez or other poetry books, or religious works are used for this purpose. Perhaps a parrot can help pick out your fortune from slips of paper too.
