Wonderful students, see if you recognise this! The original House of Miniature Painting has also had a renovation and now has a mezzanine level, stairs and a chimney. This was the cheapest house makeover ever as I just used an eraser to add in the new bits (imagine if it were that easy!) Mezzanine level has been revamped to include both tapai (middle rendering) and pardakht pardaxt pardaz (final rendering). A flight of stairs has been added since you can move up and down between the upper levels after a certain point in the painting process. We’ve also installed a chimney for the optional highlights after the final outlines. Don’t worry kids, all will be revealed later when I actually teach you live. Often hard to put these things into words and much better to demonstrate. Even my house has limits whereas painting is limitless... www.theperfectbrush.co.uk www.vaishaliprazmariteaching.com #thehouseofminiaturepainting #teaching #metaphors #theperfectbrush #vaishaliprazmaribrushes #vaishaliprazmari #vaishaliprazmariteaching #painting #art #learn #miniaturepainting #onlinecourses #online #zoom #artistsofinstagram

Thank you Vaishali for the explanation. And yes, the house is good any time as a metaphor, but right now it is our world and so even more appropriate!
Yes it is - white and even lead tin yellow or Naples yellow! I like the metaphor of the house being as we are... locked into our houses at the moment!
Thank you! The stairs I am discovering and the chimney I hope to see you demonstrate one day!!! I assume this is rendering with a very pale color? White? Such a lot to learn about this house!
The chimney - the highlights. Optional! Like fires in winter. Also the stairs - means that at a certain level, the order can be switched (you can go from rendering to outlining and vice versa, or they blend into each other at a certain point).
Love it!!!! The chimney? I am looking forward to learning about the chimney!!!
