Encouraged by my students, and since I rave about this all the time, I am re-reading My Name is Red by Orhan Pamuk very slowly. As I read, I'll post about certain sections of the book in the chronological order they appear, to give you time to catch up (if you so wish). I'm reading the Faber & Faber English edition published in 2001. If you can read the Turkish original so much the better. You can find my posts in the subcategory called 'My Name is Red' in the Writing about Painting main category on the Forum. Feel free to add your own books or any writing about painting to this category that you love!

Brilliant! Thanks and times noted - happy reading too!
I think its a wonderful idea. Cakes, books, cookies, bookshelves all go together. I read this book long ago. Will read it again for the discussion. I am okay most evenings to join Zoom meeting, except for Wednesdays, as I come late from work. Wonderful idea and looking forward to its progress. :)
